OMG they changed most of the pictures and captions

pirotess @neohysteria.blorbo.social.ap.brid.gy · 11/10/2026

This is kinda funny/sad because every other photo is of poppies captioned with trivia about tulips, because the growing conditions weren't great for bulbs this year. (Article link: www.theguardian.com/environment/gal…) […]

J and I watched all of The Ghost in the Shell as the episodes came out, which got him rereading the entire manga and me rewatching the entire show before the streaming subscription runs out. The final scene is set on the 22nd of September :blobcat:

Signed up for Netflix again. I continued watching Galileo with J, and now the kids are invested. They made me stop tonight's episode at bedtime so they can watch the end of it another time...

I missed the earlier #SydneyWeatherTooting but it went by us so fast aarggh. Garden is mostly okay, although the wind knocked over our (closed) garden umbrella, that hasn't happened before! We have no power or NBN, but at least all of our battery backups have kicked in so I'm not typing this in […]

I started playing Big Walk with my family tonight and it was a great way to pass an hour after dinner! A family friend parachuted into the game early on, which was unexpected but pretty funny when we realised we actually had 5 players

My months of chaos gardening to figure out what works in the garden were well spent after all! I'm still glad I typed "quail egg" into the MakerWorld search when J asked me if I wanted anything printed. #GardeningAU

J and I went on a behind the scenes historical tour of White Bay Power Station today! The MHNSW tour guides were excellent and there is so much interesting (and sad) history in this building. I took a ton of photos, might dump more of them on Pixelfed later.
