IMO, it is ruining the game. It's impressive in the moment but it destroys the arms of pitchers and ratchets up strikeouts. I'm not sure what can be done to change it but I hope they look for ways.

They didn't lose because of a quick hook. They lost because of unequal talent. I won't embrace bitterness over how the season ended. The only thing I'd like to see addressed (other than getting more talent) would be stop encouraging batters to swing as hard as possible. Swings should be natural.

I liked talk radio better back in the early to mid-90s. EEI was less arrogant then, more out to prove a sports format could work full time in Boston. Now, all of it - both stations - are horrible and I won't listen to them.
