avi @nektworks.com · 05/09/2026One issue that still sticks with me is LibreOffice unfortunately. (this is a known bug and only with the kf6 backend: bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi...) 000 0
avi @nektworks.com · 21/08/2026It’s already been 10 years since Blonde. This album is truly a unique one. One that you remember you loved so much when you decide to listen to the whole album again 000 0

avi @nektworks.com · 14/06/2026When trying to cancel, it implies that I can save money by paying 4 euros a month more instead of being on Basic Family (which, at 18 euros a month, is already more expensive than Apple Music Family, which is 17 euros a month). lolwut 010 1
avi @nektworks.com · 13/06/2026Watched LifeHack yesterday. Of all the “screenlife” movies I’ve seen, this one’s definitely the most cringeworthy 2010s GenZ internet one. But in a good way. 000 0

avi @nektworks.com · 08/06/2026Seems like iCloud Shared Albums will finally support full-resolution images (no idea why this wasn't the case yet). 110 1
avi @nektworks.com · 26/04/2026On iOS, they added an indicator when the correct photo picker API is used. 000 0
avi @nektworks.com · 26/04/2026Well, at least they’re honest about it. Not sure if disabling this actually works. In general, you should never give an app access to all your photos. Both iOS and Android have APIs for showing a photo picker without full access. Meta just wants all your photos and makes the UX worse otherwise 100 1

avi @nektworks.com · 19/03/2026Apple Music in macOS 26.4 has the new lyrics changes that were already on most other platforms, like karaoke, pronunciations and translations. Still can't hide the top part in Songs view though. 110 1
avi @nektworks.com · 07/03/2026I remember when Spotify had a different gray UI (before the "Your Library" redesign in 2014). I'm pretty sure you could also filter playlists by artist/album. After that, they turned Starred into Your Library and in 2021, they turned it into Liked Songs/Albums. 100 1
avi @nektworks.com · 07/03/2026Interestingly, the good (and bad) thing about the Apple Music app is that underneath, it's still iTunes, with the old songs view and the column browser (for both the library and playlists). 100 1
avi @nektworks.com · 06/03/2026You can’t do this on the desktop version of Apple Music or Spotify. 100 1

avi @nektworks.com · 08/02/2026This headline is misleading and incorrect; Windows is not removing support for any existing printer drivers. learn.microsoft.com/en-us/window... At most, this change means that new printers are no longer allowed to have printer drivers, but driverless printing is 15+ years old at this point. 140 4

avi @nektworks.com · 28/01/2026TikTok is already violating the GDPR (which I know because they show this very biased message in Dutch when I opened the app a while ago). The GDPR is quite strict on sending data outside of the EU: www.autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl/en/current/a... (…but I guess not that strict on enforcement) 000 0
