Five chapters into The Cut Throat Trial Absolutely gripping! Author Q: I’m on the kindle version which took me straight into the body of the novel. Looking at the table of contents, this is preceded by Exhibits and Witness Statements. Which order to read?

In the 80s and 90s, almost every job applicant I interviewed was an able bodied white male. In later years, I started to encounter some amazing, talented candidates who were female, non-white and disabled. Many became highly effective colleagues. DEI works for us all.

My new jam is listening to @thenewsagents.com at 0.75x speed, which makes @lewisgoodall.com , @maitlis.bsky.social and @jonsopel1.bsky.social sound, well, deliciously squiffy. Obviously, at normal speed it’s only the boy Goodall who sounds like he’s just fallen out of a ‘spoons 😉

Still getting to grips with this place, but desperate to find an alternative to the bird site. There’s still gold there, but increasingly crammed into the shrinking spaces between antisemitism, maga-bots and adverts for snake oil, crypto scams and betting.
