baby’s first chosen birthday. 🩵🦋

I think there's a lot to be said when it comes to the concept of healing out loud, as well as celebrating all of your wins. This time last year, I was in a completely different world and the future was incredibly uncertain.

But oh, what a ride it has been.

365 days of inner work, tears, hard conversations, and so much more, have been what helped me get to this point. I have always been a firm believer of people needing other people and connection being an integral part of healing, and the people I have been surrounded with this past year have shown me exactly why I hold onto those ideas. There will never be a proper string of words to express just what y'all mean to me, and how grateful I am to have people like you in my corner every step of the way. I may have done the work and held my own on this journey, but the role that every single one of you has played will never go without recognition and I hope one day I can even begin to return the kindness and grace I have been shown.

Today, I want to take the time to celebrate. I had planned to stream but I didn't know how I was gonna be feeling emotionally (and I have already cried a ton LOL), so I think today I just want to spend time with y'all in my stream server: play some games, watch some movies, hang out together and enjoy each other's company. I also wanted to say a *huge* thank you for the schemes y'all have put together; from the buckets to the kind words, it means so much more than you know.

I'm not out of the woods just yet and I know there is still a lot of work to be done, but I can confidently say that I see the changes in myself and in the spaces I've cultivated over the past year, and I'm so proud of that. I'm excited to see where I, and we, go from here and I hope y'all stick around for the ride.

Thank y'all, for everything. Here's to a year, and many more.
