After thinking it over, I've decided that I'm stepping away from this beyond overpraised looney bin indefinitely. ICYMI, see the thread I posted a few days ago as to why. If you want me, you'll find me on Discord & the other, unironically less toxic social media site/app featuring a flying animal.

(PLEASE READ THE THREAD FIRST!!!!!) After being here these past few months, I think I've come to an unfortunate yet important realization...

Finally played Astro Bot as my friend @nefariouslombax.bsky.social's house Yep. I get it. It's definitely worthy of game of the year. It was genuinely a really fun time playing through all of it. Definitely one of the best 3D platformers

Update: He came around again & has 100%ed the main story & post launch Winter level. We didn't have time to do the other post launch levels but we'll knock those out next time. And yes, he absolutely loved it from start to finish. Great to let a friend experience a peak title!

I went ahead & ordered her. Came out slightly more expensive than expected ($88/£72) but that covers import taxes so it's a trade-off. Gonna have a lil' half-genie to call my own this time next month!

Finished Delicious in Dungeon! Excellent watch from start to finish. Super fun concept with a very nice blend of action & legit funny comedy, served with a truly lovable cast aided by a top notch dub, & topped with Trigger's trademark gorgeous animation. Can't wait for season 2!

That's a wrap on Destroy All Humans!. Platinum #151 overall. ...Tbh, I ultimately didn't like it. Fun premise & writing, but MAN this game has not aged well. Says a lot that turning cheats on feels like the intended way to play. Super rough pop-in & prone to crashing too.

When a mutual makes a post I disagree with it's because they are multifaceted like a precious diamond, each side presenting a different but equally beautiful face. When a rando makes a post I disagree with it's because they're an intellectual microbe and should be executed on live television.

Happy #PortfolioDay!! I'm Cravat, I'm lucky enough to be a freelance artist and if I don't shade with black I WILL die

Fanart for the game Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective. It's a picture of Lynne, Missile, Sissel and the black cat centred by a circle in the middle. Lynne is looking off to the side cautiously while holding a happy Missile, and Sissel smiles affectionately at the cat on his shoulder. The background is a green gradient, and there are silhouettes of Jowd and Cabanela standing on some construction over a cityscape at the bottom. At the top is the silhouette of a crane, and a giant desk lamp looming over Lynne, Sissel, Missile and the cat. The picture is cel-shades with black.

Fanart of 2B from Nier Automata. The background is solid BRIGHT yellow, and 2B is in an action pose with her sword held back behind her head as if she's about to swing it forward. Her head is framed by a black circle. Pod 042 is behind her also.
The whole picture is cel-shades with black.

Fanart of Kat from Gravity Rush. She's looking at the camera with a neutral expression as she floats in the sky. The city is upside-down behind her, and the sky is a dark teal colour. An apple floats in the foreground. The whole picture is cel-shaded with solid black.

Fanartist of Hatsune Miku as she appears jn Fortnite. She's looking wearily off to the side as she handles a gun, the Surgfire SMG from the game. There is text in Japanese behind her in pink, obscured by her body, that reads "フォートナイトへようこそミク" (welcome to fortnite, Miku). In the background, Teto is panicking on a glider coming from the battle bus. The whole image is cel-shaded with black.

I get Adobe's a PoS company & all, but dogging on them so much that they straight up leave Bluesky mere hours after their first post really isn't a good look imo. And folk still unironically claim this place is less toxic than other social medias? Seems like the opposite if you ask me, just saying.

Finished the main story of Destroy All Humans just now. ...MAN, I'm so mixed on it. Premise is fun but man a lot of this game is very antiquated (the poor 'stealth' & lack of checkpoints during missions, namely). Feels like you're way too fragile as well.

So annoying when a character gets a redesign or updated look and people suddenly start pretending the old design they've loved for decades is "ugly." It's fine to like or even prefer the update, but this just sounds like you're trying too hard to convince yourself.
