One of my favorite things of #paxunplugged was getting to meet the folks of @need.games and thanking them for putting out Fabula Ultima (my favorite game ever), so grateful that after some great conversation they gifted me this copy of their newest game Piaga 1348! Can’t wait to devour this one too!

Fabula Ultima from @needgames.bsky.social is an amazing love letter to #FinalFantasy. It uses the engine of Ryuutama, with permission, to create its gameplay experience. It does drop the GMPC angle, but the basic combat engine was already designed wtih FF in www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/4...

The cover of Fabula Ultima. It shows a group of fantasy heroes in a Japanese, Final Fantasy style over a cloudy sky with an evil figure looming over them.
