Today's adventure was in using llama.cpp to save a trained model as a GGUF file and then quantize it. Turns out using transformers v5 to train led to compatibility issues with the scripts in the llama.cpp repo. Gotta love the cutting edge.

My father is alive because of this. I’ve done it too, obviously I’m high risk group (get the pills if you don’t want to use the slime prep). It’s a day of bathroom visits and then potentially many years of being not dead.
