She's doing better, got her booked in to see a private GP in a couple of weeks. She wants some M&S lobster crisps when she can eat solid food again even though they are £14 for three bags so I better put them on my list

I am an understanding person but I cannot understand how a 73 year old woman cannot be assessed and taken to hospital if needed rather than constantly being triaged via A&E with waiting times that are destroying her physically and mentally and why her own doctor can refuse to speak to her.

I am raging, she was sat in the corridors at 0130 last night, no doctor saw her, still vomiting blood. Nurse said it might be 24 hours before she could get on a ward. Called her doctors today to literally beg them to speak to her and they've just had notice that she 'discharged herself'.

Not even sure why I'm saying this other than it is all very frustrating. The NHS is chronically under funded and it feels since she hit 70 they just don't have capacity for her anymore

Mum in hospital for the third time this year vomming up blood. Her doctor literally won't see her to make any referral, just says she should go to A&E (average 16 hours wait each time). She's had follow up appointments cancelled. Today she threw up so much blood an ambulance had to come get her.
