Big fish pulpits were a thing in counter reformation Poland and Czechia. Neither noted for their maritime history. Who knew? Via www.worldofinteriors.com/story/sea-pulp…
Pulpit in the form of a big, baroque fish, with open jaws where the priest would stand (pulpit at St Peter and Paul in Duszniki-Zdrój )Pulpit in the form of a big, somewhat naive and indeed bemused looking fish, where the priest would speak through its jaws. (St Hedwig’s, Dobroszów )Pulpit with big, and ornate, fish canopy, with its mouth forming the edge above where the priest would speak. (Our Lady, Mnichovice, Czechia )

Now granted, the print/drawing is of very different proportions to the ivory. One might say the ivory has undergone a very theatrical squishage. But, there is nothing in the ivory that is not also in the Leclerc. A few examples - Alexander on his chariot and the front facing elephant.

I did search for any further versions of this particular ivory - I could find none in any collections. To cut a long story short. I did find the source. Here it is - Alexander’s Entry into Babylon, a print by Sébastien Leclerc I (1637-1714) from 1704. s3.ca-central-1.amazonaws.com/espresso-prod-…

This is just awful. US Attorney has meltdown in Minnesota hearing on Govt non-compliance with court orders on releasing ICE detainees. The transcript shows a system melting down in the face of massive illegal acts & non-compliance with court orders by ICE drive.google.com/file/d/1FnY2z7…
I did put in my resignation from the job too, but
they couldn't find a replacement. So I gave them a specific time and -- to get it done. If they don't, then by all mean, I'm going to walk out. And before I walk out, I was able to release another individual, a juvenile. That kind of like a step -- like a barrier. Like, Wait, Julie, stop. You need to go back and get more people out. That's why I'm still here. I am here just trying to make sure that the agency understand how important it is to comply with all the court orders, which they have not done in the past or
currently.

I am here as a bridge and a liaison between the
one that in jail, because if I walk out -- sometime I wish you would just hold me in contempt, Your Honor, so that I can have a full 24 hours of sleep. I work days and night

Second, the waving away of hallucinations etc (something the Master of the Rolls also does) - this illusion that it is a mere temporary glitch, solvable in a year or two, is the result of ingesting a lot of Kool Aid. It is not going to happen.

I just don't believe this article. First, the supposed explanation of the barrister's test makes no sense. (This may be the author's fault). What was fed to Grok? If it was the barrister's skeleton, then what was the AI improving? If just the facts, I don't believe it. spectator.com/article/ai-w...
