My friend wasn't allowed to play with me anymore because her dad saw me reading a Dave Barry book. Apparently I was of low moral fiber for tolerating his AMWAY slander. Dave Barry is mortal enemies with an 80 year NYC ex-cabbie and he doesn't even know it.

I unfortunately mean the fluidity of movement and flow of combat in general. It's very jerky and stilted, and the grenade behavior in particular should have never gone to launch like that IMO. Everything else is phenomenal. For the ages. But the gameplay itself is by far the weakest feature.

Stop putting Freeman in Doom and Quake and start putting Doomguy and the Ranger in Half Life. HL is an amazing game, but mechanically it is ass. Freeman has terrible physics. He's not very fun to play.
