Researchers at the Kennedy Institute (Nuffield Department of Orthopaedics, Rheumatology and Musculoskeletal Sciences) have discovered that some joints may be more susceptible to inflammatory arthritis before birth, offering new insight into why rheumatoid arthritis attacks particular joints while sparing others.
