Note to self: Whenever faced with the choice between inertia and action, between comfort and growing pains, between staying home and venturing out into the world, choose action, growth and the potentially nonstop adventure of a life fully lived - the good and the bad. Every second is irreplaceable.

"CHRISTMAS PRESENCE" by NCP. This was a song aimed at myself that Christmas. I imagined by then-partner and my son saying "All I want is you with me this Christmas, fully present here right now with us ..." PS - That's me in the Santa beard lol. youtu.be/sjGZtlq_KK4?...

I found it a real benefit. I did it for three days (Sat-Mon) the first time and parts of it stuck with me and became just part of who I am now. For instance, I'm far more inclined to sit in silence now, without TV or music than before. And I'm a lot less attached to my phone. Recommend this book.
