Tried this version of a salad with dinner last night. It was a hit with the crowd so I decided to post it even though I don't have exact measurements for what I did. It was just a moment of creative expression. designerdiner.net/cuke-salad/ #food, 🍜, #recipe, #DesignerDiner, #salad

A large white plate with a thin layer of yellow olive oil across the entire bottom of the plate. In the the olive oil, separated by the surface tension, and globs of flavored vinegars in brown, red, greed and orange. Scattered across the plate of red and yellow cherry tomato halves and dark purple kalamata olives. Placed in the center of the plate is a long arugula salad rolled up inside a wrap made of thinly sliced cucumber woven into a sheet with a basket weave pattern. Dots of freshly ground black pepper are scattered across the top of the roll.
