Not happy about how hard it's become to recycle batteries. There isn't even a collection location in my county anymore! All the local municipal info is so outdated that the entities they reference no longer exist, either. It's getting harder to do the right thing every day.

It's worse! I was at my old company, and somehow my mom was also working in the same building for a different company, and she kept breaking things and she was plugging her gateway's wan port into her laptop and sabotaging things. She's retired and we haven't spoken in years!

I wanted to work on interstellar propulsion since I was 8 years old. The same time I started watching Star Trek. I went into network engineering because I didn't think I'd be able to earn a living in astrophysics. It's so sad that the hard sciences are a grueling nightmare with no financial rewards

It's infuriating that it might be causing future legal problems for open source projects, too. You can't guarantee that the code submitted by a user is LLM-free or that the LLM isn't trained on copyrighted code.

This is exactly what I did, same values and everything. I no longer have mood swings, almost 9 months later. It was worth the switch! And honestly I just have my calendar do a 5 day recurring appointment so I never forget.
