Make sure you have a 72-hour emergency kit on hand. Your kit should include essentials such as water and non-perishable food, a manual can opener, flashlights and fresh batteries, a first aid kit, a battery-powered radio, and any special items such as prescriptions and infant formula. 2/3

Point Lepreau is temporarily offline so teams can safely repair a gasket on the turbine system reheater, located on the conventional side of the Station. There is no risk to staff, the public or the environment. The Station will return to service once all required reviews are complete.
