Today the Mactaquac headpond will be lowered below 130 feet due to system conditions. The headpond typically operates between 128 and 133 feet, but levels can fluctuate during dry conditions or as a result of operational requirements. 1/2

Point Lepreau is temporarily offline so teams can safely repair a gasket on the turbine system reheater, located on the conventional side of the Station. There is no risk to staff, the public or the environment. The Station will return to service once all required reviews are complete.
