I Made a Zine of Ink Swatches
Today, I combined two things that have been occupying a lot of my head space - making ink swatches, and making a zine. I have been making ink swatches for years now, comparing different methods, working on different papers, using many techniques to get different outputs, and have settled on a default method that works for me. The result is a bunch of ink swatches living in different books and swatch collections, but nothing that I go back to refer to on a regular basis.

I was unsure if there's a more modern and updated nomenclature. In the 80s and 90s there used to be a bunch of magazines specialising in this. Most of it was terrible, but the ideas, not the writing, really mattered.

Yes! My local library has a "Library of Things!" It's all stuff that is useful once in a while but maybe not used enough to be worth buying and having take up limited space in a small home. And no one seems to know about it!
