This def happened. I started the #NoSnyderFellowship hashtag on Twitter in 2019 and worked with my comrade Leslie Mac, several Harvard alumni etc... to force him out. Tiffany started a petition (thousands signed), we had Twitter power hours, etc... A great example of successful digital organizing.

It’s bad enough that Gavin Newsom opposes California’s Prop 40. But he also supports Prop 42, a billionaire-backed poison pill that would cancel out Prop 40 entirely and make it impossible to enact future wealth taxes. It’s clear whose side he’s on. Remember this in 2028.

It genuinely is because we don’t have a party for the people. Both parties (with the exception of a handful of progressive candidates) are bought and paid for by corporations and wealthy donors. All of our issues are caused by money in politics.

Trump has denied disaster relief for Illinois following severe storms in August. Trump approved a request from Indiana for damage resulting from the same storms. One is a "blue state." The other is a "red state." No other president has politicized natural disasters the way that Trump has.
