It's easy enough to walk past Devon hedge banks covered in moss and forget that they were made by people, until the moss parts and you see the stone-facing peeping out like exposed bones.
Mature beech tree with a thick, moss-covered trunk and a long, mossy limb reaching out to the right, rooted in a moss-covered bank faced with stone with scattered ferns and fallen copper leaves. Misty fields, a wire fence and a wooden gate rail fade into the pale fog behind.

My first sighting of devil's fingers, Clathrus archeri, on our local common. I did a weird squeaking noise when I realised what it was. #fungi
Five bright red tapered 'fingers' of a fungus in long, wet grass, trees in the background shrouded in the mist.

*goes to check time* *looks down, sees small dog looking feeble, giving off a steady whingeing noise* Ah, just after five then.
A small, wiry-haired black and tan dog looks up at the camera from a stone floor, standing with its front paws on the toes of a person's green wellington boots.

Bit of a lovely morning. #Devon
Sunlight on grass, seen through a large ash tree, with a willow and brambles in the foreground. There's a timber roundhouse. A low stone building is nestled into a hedgerow, with a green grass field in front, lines of trees behind, and a mist in front of the horizon.

I still can't entirely believe this was a thing, but in Vietnam in 2005 I saw this 9/11 commemorative (for the want of a better word) lighter for sale. Yes, the red bit lit up when you opened the lighter.
A lighter with the twin towers, a red illuminated explosion, an approaching airliner, a chrome bust of Osama Bin Laden and 9/11 on it.

This throws the agroecological baby out with the regenerative bathwater ( #agroecology is more broadly defined than this critique covers) but tradeoffs are inevitable, reality is messy and romantic thinking butters no parsnips, or at least fewer of them #Regenerative... as Father Ted Crilly said,

In case anyone's wondering how it's going on Google recently, I just asked it for shits and gigs what 2.2 meters was in feet, and it's told me about 34 and a half miles.
Google search result for "2.2 m in feet" showing an incorrect calculation that converts 2,200,000 inches to 183,333 feet 3.996 inches, instead of converting 2.2 metres.

Got my compost out of the compost heap today. Very happy. I learned my lesson not to try and compost dock roots after last year. Quick sort through for sticks and a sieve and I'll have several bags worth.
Compost lying on a blue tarpaulin. It's a brown crummy pile with the occasional stick that has not broken down.

Character Cameron Frye from the movie Ferris Bueller's Day Off is looking at a piece of artwork of a cat with a vase looking threatening. Zoom in to Cameron's face as he regards this artwork with horror. The cat's gaze is piercing his soul. Look at the cat! The cat is going to push that vase off, and you know it.
