I want to say to my fellow Labour members, please resist the urge to make cheap partisan attacks over this. I know it might be tempting, but just don't. The reality is Jewish members of the Green Party will be feeling very scared right now and it is our duty to stand in solidarity with them.

It is a difficult task, yes, but the new leadership has demonstrated its willingness to listen and change with regards to Palestine, and we'll keep campaigning for it to do the same on trans rights.

The main difference, I would say, is that Labour has a history of supporting LGBT+ rights, and the infiltration of anti-trans entryists is recent. The Labour party's reason for existing is not to propagate transphobia, it's to advance social democracy. Reform's only reason for existing is racism.

It's not exactly compatible at the moment, and I'm certainly not asking any trans person to vote Labour right now, just as I wouldn't have asked any Jewish person to vote Labour when the party was going through its antisemitism crisis.

I agree, but part of how we make that case to the party leadership is through raising awareness of the harassment of trans party members (much of which has been carried out by people associated with the organisations holding those events)

There are five trans and non-binary people who serve on the LGBT+ Labour committee. LGBT+ Labour and Labour for Trans Rights will have a presence at Women's Conference, because otherwise transphobic organisations like Labour Women's Declaration would be totally unopposed.

Solidarity to Emily. The NEC must end the exclusion of trans women in the Labour Party and promote inclusion in all of our structures. Where laws mandate exclusion, we have a responsibility to reform them instead of hiding behind them.

These are awful times for trans rights in the UK, but the tide is beginning to turn within the party. I made it clear in my speech to the AGM that we in LGBT+ Labour should not rest in our fight until every trans person who left our party over its institutional transphobia feels able to rejoin.
