what's frustrating is how much they actually ABANDONED this, the MCU's closest artistic comparison IMHO is not comics it's Pro Wrestling and to that end an Avengers movie is their Wrestlemania where all the feuds climax and a new champion gets crowned, it's a necessary catharsis/timeline point
