I will never forgive Trump's quislings for treating our allies worse than our enemies. Every one of these stunts is a betrayal. We *had* a good trade deal with Canada, it was called NAFTA. Trump replaced it with...a basically identical deal (USMCA) and now tore that up too. Infuriating.

Not a very original thought, but as all of the irrelevancies burn away, it really is obvious that the core of MAGA is a desperate attempt to reinforce crumbling hierarchies: power of the wealthy over the poor, men over women, whites over non-whites. I struggle to communicate my fury about the easing of sanctions on Russia's oil as a result of the Iran war. Unlike basically anything suggested as an objective in this fool war, containing Russia's ability to brutalize and dominate Eastern Europe *actually is* a vital US security interest.
