Bipolar is real. But the “chemical imbalance” story was never enough. It made it sound simple: one chemical, one fix. But bipolar is far more complex than that — and complexity doesn’t make it less biological, serious, or real. We don’t have to cling to outdated explanations to prove we’re sick.
