I'm on board with everything else and fully agree that GM needs to make a formal apology and work on addressing their biases and correcting their behavior for the future. This whole situation is messed up and I sympathize with everyone harmed by it.

6. I still consider GM to be a close friend and have offered to support them as they learn from and atone for their mistakes. And recent events don't erase the good work we've done over the years. GM's community has been a boon to my mental health and I'm sad to see what's happened to it.
