At the very least they treated me like a princess and came by constantly to ask me if I needed more water or something to eat, it was kinda hilarious. Nowadays I'm fine although I still avoid looking at it directly.

Fun fact I was really scared the first time around and got really nauseous to the point that after I was done the lady told me that there were many great hobbies out there and I should probably seek out a different one 😭 They all thought I was gonna kiss the ground any second.

We're not perfect people and neither are cis people, but they're not upheld to that same standard are they now? Besides as if there was ever a need for such an excuse as opinions. Trans people have been accused of anything under the sun without the need for evidence ever arising.

If you think a single trans person expressing "controversial" opinions is going to upend our entire cause then said cause is already lost. If one misstep from any of us is enough to take our rights away then it's inevitable for that to happen.

When I told her in a trembling voice that I feared I might be a pedophile and showed her an E-mail exchange with a therapist, who just said it's okay to have those thoughts and he doesn't want to diagnose me yet because I just turned 18. Where I also explained all of the things for and against it..

I genuinely felt like I was partially at fault. Today I know that is just how capitalism works. Although I still try to keep my consumption to a minimum and buy a lot of things used or not at all. I kind of can't give up on the idea of personal responsibility.

It's also important to know that she knows that I'm a very empathetic person that tends to guilt trip herself over everything. For example I did tons of research into child labor/conflict minerals in electronics when I was 15. I spent my entire summer vacation on that.

I pretty much responded that continued activism is needed to keep those supposed rights in place and if this counts as equal then we can get rid of feminism, because by that logic she has equal enough rights and then the conversation turned silent, lmao.

I remember a conversation from years ago where she was angry about having to see LGBT people. Something along the lines of why do they need to keep on having these parades if they already have equal rights, which is just tone deaf af
