CHARACTERS - DAY ONE: Morrigan Morrigan began, waaaay back, as a bit of Morgan le Fey (hence the Dark Ritual) mixed with Delirium from Sandman. The Delirium elements subsided into more of a weird cadence of speech as my idea of Morrigan solidified - more cynical, wanting to connect but unable to. 🧵

Morrigan's original appearance in DAO. I can't help but look back on this and balk at the old graphics, but at the time I was *enamoured*.

The DAI version of Morrigan - so awesome.

I remember pleading with the artists: "If we put her in the Orlais plot, can we give her a dress?! PLEASE PLEASE" It almost didn't happen.

Some of the first art we put out for Morrigan. I remember seeing this and asking "why does she look so YOUNG?" - that's when I learned how parts of the team thought she was, like, 18. The idea persisted for some time.

Ooo I feel like Miri would fit in well with the Lords of Fortune because she would love the way they always seek adventure and how when push comes to shove they all have each other’s backs 💪

Miri and Lucanis never really see eye to eye, especially due to Miri’s hatred for demons. Miri picking to save her home of Minrathous over Treviso certainly didn’t help the tension in their relationship either 😬

Miri would actively search for arguments with people who hate on her companions or who praise Solas so she can get her pent-up anger out

The amount of time I spent on this is honestly embarrassing, but DOS2 redraw meme yay

I'm Not Calling You "Good Boy" redraw trend (redrawn with characters from Divinity: Original Sin 2)

In the top panel, Lohse, Sebille, The Red Prince, and Ifan (all lightly colored) are lined up and blushing as they look expectantly toward Malady.

In the bottom panel, the four of them are in black and white and drawn in a less cute style. They look disappointed and tearful as Malady snaps, "I'm not calling you 'Good Godwoken!' You didn't take Divinity!!"
