iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

I have tried out Photocraft! Very vibe-coded atm. Brushes turned out quite pixelated compared to Photoshop so for my purposes, it's unusable. I'll see if it gets better with more actual humans working to improve it so there's no solid yay/nay for me yet.

I'm not terribly surprised with a vibe-coded program, but there are actual humans working out bugs so it's worth keeping an eye on and see how all of these programs evolve.

I just tried PhotoCraft in the ways that I usually use Photoshop. Conclusion: I can't say too much about other features, but brushes come out pretty pixelized and for my purposes, unusable.

Art and the creative process has gone splat and I'm struggling to get it back, oops. Basically politics has fucked with my daily life and stress levels have caused me do go from nice creative headspace to "I'm struggling to survive" headspace. 🙃

It's gotten pervasive enough here that I saw a place that has vendors selling their handmade goods... advertised with gen AI flyers on their Facebook page. Like WHAT even is that?!

I used to be one of those people. I find a lot of these cases (but not all) come from past traumas with the medical system. I can't argue because it truly does get horrific. There are some medical personnel who shouldn't have their jobs. It's a systemic issue I really have no answers for.
