"When your sense of self-exaltation requires tanks, flyovers and up to $45 million for a birthday party, we’re no longer in the realm of cake and candles — we’re squarely in Criterion 1 of narcissistic personality disorder: 'a grandiose sense of self-importance.'"

Gotta correct the media again on something. The administration is not sending migrants to a mega prison in El Salvador. They’re sending human beings to a concentration camp.

Just started reading "Insight is 20/20: How To Trust Yourself To Protect Yourself From Narcissistic Abuse & Toxic Relationships" by @awkn9111.bsky.social This book comes highly recommended.

To anyone who has been scarred by love, stay strong. Love has not hurt you. Someone who doesn't know how to love hurt you. Always remember the difference.

You might not have heard the term "love bombing" before, but you may have been the recipient of it from a romantic partner. Maybe you found yourself calling it “love at first sight" and feeling like it’s all too good to be true. That’s because it often is. #narcissisticabuse

Today the world observes Transgender Day of Visibility (TDOV) to raise awareness about transgender people. It is a day to celebrate the lives and contributions of trans people, while also drawing attention to the disproportionate levels of poverty, discrimination, and violence the community faces.

It's critical for everyone to remember what an Executive Order is. It is the President communicating orders to members of the executive branch. Policies to pursue, actions to take, etc. They are not laws. They are not close to being laws. They are formalized memos to employees. That's all.

Notice how much this resembles the GOP right now... denial, gaslighting, minimizing, blameshifting. To a narcissist the "truth" is not seen as a finite, fixed entity, but as being whatever the narcissist says it is in that moment.

The Narcissist's Prayer

That didn't happen.
And if it did, it wasn't that bad.
And if it was, that's not a big deal.
And if it is, that's not my fault.
And if it was, I didn't mean it.
And if I did, you deserved it.

Our for-profit health care system is not only broken & cruel, it's extremely wasteful. While we spend billions on stock buybacks, CEO compensation & denying needed care, Medicare for All would save $650 billion & 68,000 lives a year per CBO & Yale University. Let's get it done.
