SEASONS Vol. 3: Fall is launching October 20th. Are you ready for my biggest book yet?

Nandor Fox Shaffer @nandorfox.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

Joshua Cassara’s work always stopped me in my tracks at the shops and online. A true outstanding talent in the industry. Thinking of him tonight.

It’s the first day of Fall so it’s only fitting to share another teaser from SEASONS Vol. 3: Fall. This one’s heavy. We launch next month.

RELEASE DAY! While you’re at your local comic shop, be sure to pick up your copy of SEASONS Vol. 1: Spring. Big thanks to Source Point Press for the opportunity to bring this series to stores! Fletcher’s story isn’t over and neither is mine. This season has just begun…

What if you could follow an immortal across time? Here is a preview page from my short story in Vagabond: Nowhere Man — an anthology from Xion Studios that’s now live on Kickstarter. There’s less than 48 hours to support this project and we could really use your help to get us over the finish line!

Watched the pilot episode of Lanterns twice. Clever reinvention keeps these eighty-year-old characters alive and well. Strong, nuanced writing and lived-in performances. The tone is everything I want from a mature superhero story. And anytime you don’t spoon feed the viewer, you have my respect.

Calling all retailers and readers! Today is the LAST DAY to order copies of my new release from Source Point Press — SEASONS Vol. 1: Spring! You know what to do!

Today has been a day shrouded in a sour sadness. How do people go about their business as if everything is normal when someone meaningful to them has passed? I have no idea. That’s not how I operate. Waking up to the news of Glen Hansard’s death this morning was shocking.

Nandor Fox Shaffer @nandorfox.bsky.social · 28/07/2026

First SDCC came and went faster than a speeding bullet. Despite that, life goals were achieved.

Went to see both Obsession and Backrooms last night back-to-back in theaters. Two of the best films of the year thus far. The hype is real.

The end of an era. Marvel’s Ultimate Universe (Earth-6160) is one of the rare times I’ve stuck to a line-wide initiative in all my years of collecting. Bought every issue of every series and tie-in since Ultimate Invasion in 2023. Sad to see it go but what a ride. Comics, man.

020

Nandor Fox Shaffer @nandorfox.bsky.social · 24/06/2026

No Ultimate Endgame/Ultimate Finale spoilers please. I’ve been reading every series since Ultimate Invasion so give a working man a chance to go to his LCS.

Revisiting MISTER MIRACLE. One of the few comics that changed the way I THOUGHT about comics. Vulnerable. Unashamed. One-of-a-kind. Sometimes there is freedom in our own prisons — especially if that prison is love and family. We could escape, but would we ever truly want to?

How is everyone? Feels like I’ve been MIA more than usual. I’ve had my head down writing A LOT these past few months. I spent 8+ hours finishing up a 90-page work-for-hire project today and completed editing my 140-page original graphic novel recently.

ATHANASIA by Daniel Kraus and DANI reminded me why I will never stop appreciating comics as an art form. This meaty graphic novel clocks in at over 250 pages and positions itself as a story for superhero fans that may or may not be tired of reading traditional superhero stories.

ReMaster Monk by Levi Hoffmeier is one of the best indie books out there. Creative, fun, and oh so relevant in its commentary regarding the shifting fabric of reality in the wake of technological “progress.” Can’t say enough good things.

Comics can be beautiful literary works promoting the need for societal change. If I ever get to talk with Geoff Johns in person, I’m going to ask him what Superman told the Hulk because I think the world needs to hear it right now. “Anger’s easy…listening’s hard.” -Superman
