Nancy Sauer @nancysauer.bsky.social · 13/09/2026Pineapple V3 is done. Once I tidy up the woven-in ends and give it a bath I will be able to wear it. 🧶 #crochet #internationalcrochetday 081

Nancy Sauer @nancysauer.bsky.social · 06/09/2026I was never part of the HP fandom (tried reading the first book, didn’t like it), but this matches what I remember as an outside observer. 020

Nancy Sauer @nancysauer.bsky.social · 06/09/2026I myself am not a reader of romance, but I know enough about the genre to know that this is not a body of writers you want to mess with. 010
Nancy Sauer @nancysauer.bsky.social · 02/09/2026As I am not special enough to comment on Claire Willett’s posts, I will here support her point that the Rapture is not, repeat not, a Catholic belief. And while the Book of Revelation has a lot to say about living as a follower of Christ, it’s not God’s playbook for the future. 020
Reposted by Nancy SauerClaire Willett @clairewillett.bsky.social · 02/09/2026not for nothing but of all the Confirmation classes I taught in the early aughts, one of the biggest hits was a session on Revelations it was basically "no we don't believe in the Rapture" / "the Left Behind books are trash" / "if a Catholic starts talking End Times shit to you, run" 41754354
Nancy Sauer @nancysauer.bsky.social · 31/08/2026I have been slowly accumulating evidence for this in my reading and it’s interesting to find a professional who pulls it all together. 010
Nancy Sauer @nancysauer.bsky.social · 30/08/2026Bluesky is weird and won’t let me comment on the repost of the German choc cake that used oats instead of coconut for the topping. I am allergic to coconut and I like oats and I find this idea really interesting. 100

Nancy Sauer @nancysauer.bsky.social · 30/08/2026This is the crochet sweater I finished earlier this summer. Still needs to have a few ends woven in and some blocking, but basically done. 🧶 #crochet #crochetsky 280
Nancy Sauer @nancysauer.bsky.social · 30/08/2026In case anyone needs to know, the rabies vaccine no longer involves a terrifyingly large needle sticking in to your stomach. Source: I have had the complete rabies vaccination series once and the booster series twice. (Long story.) 0147
Nancy Sauer @nancysauer.bsky.social · 30/08/2026There is a very good reason that the poet Dante put the Fraudulent in the lowest third of Hell. 030
Nancy Sauer @nancysauer.bsky.social · 30/08/2026Current status of Pineapple V3. At this point I’m using the pattern as a helpful suggestion and not a strict instruction. I have a bad habit of improvising crochet projects. 🧶 #crochet #lace #crochetsky 060

Nancy Sauer @nancysauer.bsky.social · 24/08/2026I don’t understand any of the technical details but “Dream On” is indeed fire and now I need to go listen to it. 010
Nancy Sauer @nancysauer.bsky.social · 23/08/2026I am sitting here seriously wondering if I should stop by Costco and stock up on canola oil before the tariffs hit. I feel like I’m going mad. 000
Nancy Sauer @nancysauer.bsky.social · 23/08/2026This is very funny and now I need to check out her music. I grew up listening to outlaw country music and loved it, but the modern stuff leaves me cold. 000

Nancy Sauer @nancysauer.bsky.social · 16/08/2026I was mildly disappointed when Bluesky stoped working, but I spent an hour reading and then watched some PBS short videos on ancient earth and when I came back the problem had been sorted out. 031
