What is #neurodivergent? I grew up in a small house with 2 parents & 10 kids. To do homework at the dining room table, I had to block/include the tv, kitchen noise, and sibling disagreements. To this day, I watch what I’m streaming, check Bluesky, and read my kindle.

Yesterday, I saw a post about a book by Charlotte Ottinger. It was called “Madge” I asked hubs to check the library. Nada. I looked at Barnes&Noble (a gift card). Hubs looked at Amazon & found it. $185. I went to kindle, created an account, an d chose to read it for $10. HOLY SHITBALLS!! Amazing.

In April we lost Mata to tumors on her spleen and other complications. A week later we lost Welkin. She had had a stroke, but wanted to stroll the yard. She never came back in.

Tigr. Named for the bouncy, flouncy cat. He can jump 5 feet. We were told today he has pancreatitis. A bag of meds an d an appt in ten days. He’s a good boy.

We bought this house and our bedroom had beige paint over some kind of paneling. Ick. There was a color in thefav bedspread.. We went to the Sherwin-Williams store and I told the kid I wanted paint the color of the underside of a sage leaf after the first frost. We actually found it. He was 😂.

Back in the day my older siblings got chicken pox. Along came the second wave (my closer sibs and me). Oldest brother apparently did not get enough immunity the first time. He got chickenpox in his throat. He survived.

Last week we had to let go of a family member. Her name was Mata. She weighed 125#. 5# was hair. She was adopted at 8 weeks and lived in our home for 9 1/2 years. We got her ashes this week. I can’t bury them yet. I can’t let her go yet. I will leave the box on the cabinet until I can.
