@metalweavegames.com wanted to give you a heads up (publicly) that @roleplaycafe.com has been added to one of the large “AI in TTRPG” moderation blocklists; and because I use that moderation list to auto block people using GenAI, it has been caught up in that. I did not block the account myself

And like, I know that that takes a longer time; but I think anyone who would be your target audience (ie, TTRPG people who also are anti GenAI) will be turned off by the use of GenAI for the code People will see this as hypocritical, unfortunately :’)

The want to compete with other larger companies is understandable but also—I’d much rather you do this RIGHT than undercut your No GenAI policy on a platform built with GenAI code. Why not seek out investors or do a crowdfund to support development instead?

Genuine question: I know you’re against GenAI; so why, then, do you justify using it to code the site? Your argument of, essentially, “I can’t pay a software developer” is the same reasoning other GenAI users say wrt art (“I can’t afford to pay an artist”)

PTI lounge has had such a positive impact on me as a multiple marginalized person working in this industry. It’s shameful that PAX / ReedPop doesn’t see the benefits to putting MONEY and RESOURCES towards creating space for the MOST marginalized folks to feel safe.

This industry has an insidious tendency to platform BIPOC (often, Black) people (often, Femmes/trans folk) and then rip the rug out from under them. It’s a NOTICABLE pattern and it SUCKS that only other BIPOC folk are talking about it. BIPOC folk deserve better. And I NEED white folks to speak up.
