I just had to take advantage of the nice weather and go on a naked hike. The humidity was high but the temperature was pleasant. 20 degrees in October is truly unheard of. Really wish more people discovered the freedom of a naturist hike. #naturism #normalizenaturism #bodyfreedom

I had a lovely 5hrs hike with my friend. We also used the hike as an opportunity to gather rosehips. That was likely the last hike of this year's Indian summer. The day was fantastic and nature beautiful with its autumnal decoration!

That is a helpful perspective which makes me think we need to hold on those values that make naturism meanongful and worthwhile so we can be positioned for the next pendulum swing - the 3 Rs self respect respect for others respect for the environment/nature

This is uncouth, but also not exactly true. As I said in a previos reply, rather than not caring what others think, we come to understand that it doesn't matter what others think, and that we can live our lives free of that perceived restriction. This realisation is immensely liberating.

Tbh it wouldn't have jeopardised my career, I even mentioned it as part of my security clearance checks as part of holiday and trip info. However there were guys at my last couple of sites who would have twisted it to swinging etc It might be cowardly but easier to not go there. Family know.

I know we can potentially jeopardise our careers by talking about our nudism, but unless we do so freely, it will NEVER garner the recognition and respect it deserves and so desperately needs. Many believe it's an impossible dilemma, but it's actually not as problematic as some might fear.

Reaching maturity is so liberating. No longer do you feel the need to have interminable arguments about the imagined differences between nudism and naturism, or the pros and cons of pubic hair, or whether erections have any place in naturism. And no longer do you give a fuck what anyone else thinks.

I didn't out myself as a nudist until after I retired. Some of my friends and coworkers knew, but now I'm very open about it. I agree that nudity will never become normalized until we're more open about it and people learn that it's not sexual or lewd.

Two beaches that were once regarded as nudist—Cala de Enmedio and Cala del Plomo—were 95% textile today. 😞 It's probably more textile on weekends, but the general downturn in free nudism is a sad thing indeed. Mind you, it didn't deter us of course! #nakedliving #bodyfreedom
