🔸 In Rafah's al-Mawasi area, Israeli forces shot and killed 12-year-old Mohammed Saif al-Din al-Shakhreeti as he sat outside his family's displacement tent.

🔸 An Israeli drone strike on Jouls Street in central Nuseirat refugee camp killed one person.

🔸 Qusai Muammar Hillis died of wounds sustained in an Israeli strike on Gaza City weeks ago.

🔸 Israeli forces stationed east of Deir al-Balah shot and wounded several people, and a drone strike near the al-Iqlimi junction in Khan Younis's al-Mawasi area wounded others, including children.

🔸 Israeli tanks fired heavily toward displacement tents in Rafah's al-Mawasi and southern Khan Younis, shelled eastern Khan Younis, and fired on the Hamad City area and the al-Salateen and al-Atatra areas west of Beit Lahia.

The attacks continue despite the ceasefire in effect since October 2025 and President Trump's July 31 announcement of a "new agreement" to begin the second phase of the Gaza "roadmap." Almost all of Gaza's population still lives in tents, shelters, and damaged buildings, with reconstruction blocked.

Ta-Nehisi Coates rejects blaming voters who wouldn’t back Kamala Harris over Gaza for her loss to Trump in 2024, saying many were asked to vote for a Democratic administration enabling a genocide against their own families.

“That’s you. That’s not me. And that’s not who I want to be,” he said.

He drew a historical parallel: Black Americans didn’t accept being sacrificed for Franklin Roosevelt’s New Deal, whose Social Security and housing programs were written to exclude most Black workers in order to win Southern votes, and Frederick Douglass pressured and publicly criticized Abraham Lincoln through much of the Civil War, warming to him only late.

The author of The Case for Reparations added, “If we get access to any sort of power, we can’t do what was done to us.”

🇵🇸 A four-month-old Palestinian infant died Sunday evening after Israeli soldiers blocked his urgent medical transfer at the military checkpoint sealing his village of Deir Ammar, west of Ramallah, according to Ramallah Governor Laila Ghannam.

Ahmad Ma’rouf Zeid was in critical condition and needed immediate hospital treatment but soldiers refused to let him through, Ghannam said. They fired tear gas at the residents and vehicles gathered at the gate as he waited.

Doctors at the Arab Specialized Hospital confirmed the death of the family’s only son, born after several years of waiting, the Wafa News agency reported.

Ghannam called his death “a stain on the conscience of humanity” and part of a deliberate Israeli policy of checkpoints, gates, and closures that strangles the movement of patients and ambulances across the occupied West Bank.

It took a little longer than expected, but we have created a website for people to view the footage collected from Gaza in one place. You no longer have to download the entire archives to see them.

It includes:

64,537 videos
17,905 photos
Ability to download individual videos
Searchable index
Exhaustive sources list (300+ journalists)
Geolocation data
Livemap with minute to minute updates
Victim list

It can be accessed here: http://ArchiveGenocide.com

Please share & quote tweet to help this post break out of the twitter algorithm prison.

We will keep adding the rest of the archives to the site, be patient- it is difficult work. Continue to seed the torrents provided, as that is the best way to ensure the footage remains stored in decentalized way.

God bless all those who sacrificed their lives to get this footage out, and everyone invovled in collecting/archiving it.

🇱🇧 Lebanon’s leadership is pressing for a lasting ceasefire as diplomatic talks continue following the Israel-Hezbollah truce.

Latest diplomatic updates:

🔹 President Joseph Aoun spoke with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and said that ending Israeli attacks through a comprehensive ceasefire is a prerequisite for talks scheduled in Washington next week, according to L’Orient Today.

🔹 Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi told Pakistani Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar that the United States bears responsibility for ending “the war on all fronts, including in Lebanon,” and for any violations of the U.S.-Iran memorandum of understanding signed this week, according to Reuters.

🔹 Prime Minister Nawaf Salam separately reiterated that the Lebanese state must have “exclusive control of weapons” across all Lebanese territory and be the sole authority on questions of war and peace.

🔸Traffic was evenly split between inbound and outbound voyages, with most ships following established Iranian routes. Kpler also identified five sanctioned vessels among the crossings.

🔸The newly established Persian Gulf Strait Authority (PGSA) announced that vessels seeking to transit Hormuz must submit passage requests at least 48 hours in advance and coordinate designated routes and transit times with Iran, due to mine-affected areas. During the 60-day MOU period, Iran says fees for security, safety, environmental services, and related insurance will be covered by the Iranian government.

🔸At least four tankers carrying crude oil, refined products, and LPG entered the strait Friday en route to Iraqi Gulf ports. A Japanese-owned crude tanker also exited after being delayed by the war, while Indian supertankers Desh Vibhor and Desh Vaibhav resumed voyages to India.

🔸British maritime security firm Ambrey said Iranian authorities ordered a Hong Kong-flagged tanker and a Saint Kitts and Nevis-flagged bulk carrier to turn back on Thursday. The vessels were instructed to leave the Strait of Hormuz area and return to anchorage, per Reuters.

🔸Meanwhile, 10 Iranian supertankers carrying nearly 20 million barrels of oil are sailing from Chabahar toward Asia, likely destined for refineries in China.

Hormuz traffic shows recovery

Verified Strait of Hormuz crossings reached 25 on 18 June, marking a notable increase in daily maritime activity. Traffic was evenly distributed across both directions, with most vessels following established Iranian route patterns. Five sanctioned vessels were recorded among the crossings, while no additional physical attacks have been confirmed since 10 May. The latest figures coincide with discussions surrounding the implementation phase of the US-Iran 60 day memorandum framework, which aims to preserve the ceasefire, support navigation through the Strait and facilitate broader negotiations. While this d/d uptick points to improving operating conditions, unresolved implementation details and continued dark crossings indicate a continued elevated degree of caution with ship operators.

⭕️ Israel blocks 17,000 calves and 24,000 sheep from entering Gaza, denying Palestinians Eid al-Adha rites

Israel blocked the entry of sacrificial animals into Gaza ahead of Eid al-Adha, depriving Palestinians of one of their most significant religious rituals of the Islamic calendar, according to Gaza’s Government Information Office.

The office said approximately 17,000 calves and 24,000 sheep designated for the Eid season were prevented from entering the Strip amid the ongoing blockade and closure of crossings.

Eid al-Adha, which commemorates the willingness of Ibrahim to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to God, is one of the two major Islamic holidays. The ritual slaughter of livestock is central to the observance.

Gaza’s Government Information Office called on the international community and human rights institutions to pressure for the opening of crossings and the entry of animals, humanitarian aid, and basic necessities into the Strip.

💢 Israeli strikes set Tyre ablaze overnight, targeting power generators in residential neighborhoods

Israeli strikes resumed in Tyre after midnight, setting residential neighborhoods ablaze as civilians attempted to shelter, according to journalist Hala Jaber. Strikes reportedly targeted power generators supplying entire neighborhoods around Al-Dinia Street, bombing parts of the city into darkness.

The strikes came one day after Israeli minister Itamar Ben-Gvir publicly called for Lebanon’s electricity grid to be destroyed, Jaber notes.

🚨BREAKING UPDATE🚨

Tyre is burning again tonight.

Only hours after the earlier blitz on the city, Israeli strikes resumed after midnight, setting residential neighbourhoods ablaze while civilians tried to shelter for the night.

These images are from Tyre now. Apartment buildings on fire. Streets lit by explosions. Civil defence crews rushing into the flames as the bombing continues around them.

Israel is lashing out across south Lebanon with escalating fury, not only to terrorise civilians, but also out of frustration at its growing inability to stop Hezbollah’s FPV drone attacks.

Netanyahu appears to believe that flattening neighbourhoods & intensifying collective punishment will force the resistance into submission.

It won’t.

💢 Last week in Istanbul, Drop Site conducted a series of in-person interviews with senior Palestinian resistance leaders, including Hamas leader Osama Hamdan and co-founder and chief political negotiator for Palestinian Islamic Jihad, Mohammed Al-Hindi.

Palestinian negotiators charge that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and officials from Trump’s “Board of Peace” have trashed the original October “ceasefire” agreement and have presented a new framework that demands the total disarmament of the Palestinian resistance as a prerequisite to implementing the terms of the signed deal.

“They are trying to send a message to the Palestinians that there is no solution within Palestine, and that the only solution is for them to leave,” Hamdan said about Israel.

“If it comes down to a situation of ‘the sea behind you and the enemy in front of you,’ they will fight—not only Hamas, but Palestinians in general, will fight.”
