I am a journalist and much prefer the engagement here to any of the other big names. That said, lot fewer announcements/updates/press releases from brands, officials, etc. are posted here. Well, not necessarily. The prerogative of journalism is to enlighten the public when there's an issue of substantial public interest. There would be no guarantee of the public ever knowing the truth if they'd done that. Even with an independent DOJ, I'd argue Atlantic should publish all the same.
