All season long, #Tigers fans like me have been talking about how good a hitter Kevin McGonigle is. And he has been really good. But after his 3rd inning double today, Javier Baez is hitting .289 on the season, compared to Kevin's .285. Javi's hitting improvement the past 2 years has been great.

One of the things I enjoy about watching games on MLB.tv is the ability to listen to the radio broadcast of a game while watching the TV broadcast. That way, when I get tired of the childish goofing around by the TV broadcasters, I can switch to the adults actually talking about the game on radio.

Lifelong #Tigers faniving in Orlando. Watch the Tigers on MLB TV every night, but watch the Rays broadcast when they play Tampa. Have to admit, it's nice getting to listen to adults announce the game on television. I miss that.

Man, Doyle Alexander was an amazing pickup for the Tigers in late 1987. Went 9-0, 1.53 ERA after being acquired for some struggling minor league pitcher who probably never amounted to anything. Doyle led the Tigers to an AL East crown that year. Wonder what happened to that other guy. #CardSky

Watching Braves-Rays game. Justyn-Henry Malloy just lost a ball in the sun in left (at same park). Max Clark got killed for that because he wore a few chains around his neck. But you won't hear anything about it happening to anyone else. I'm a biased TIgers' fan, but Clark's just fine. Let him be.
