What I bring to the table: *Awkward silence *Drawer full of OTC and prescription meds *Cat fur *Gluten free snacks *Excuses *Show tunes at inappropriate moments *Obscure movie/TV quotes *A level of dgaf never before seen on the planet *My own car so I can leave when the vibes get weird

Chapter 8 is going to be a long one. I'm already at 5K words and I still have one whole scene left to write. (And it's a good one!) I'd be writing right now but my son wanted to hang out today, and family comes first. (I have a few art projects on the back burner too but I have to be in the mood.)

I don't understand why anyone uses AI for creative work. Neurodivergence, chronic illness, and trauma have done so much to sever my connection to humanity, so I use writing and art as a means to reconnect to that "real-ness" that's still buried inside. Why would you throw this ability away?

I've already got about 2000 words written on chapter 8, but I'm still dealing with some IRL issues. I may need surgery but the doctor wants to try an outpatient procedure first to see if that helps. Hopefully I will soon be back to normal and I'll have enough spoons for writing and art!

Silly sketch of a scene from chapter 2 of Nobody's Shadow in which he patiently indulges Mimzy's flirting a bit, which surprises Lucifer. (The perspective bothers me but I don't know how to fix it. I'm still learning.)

My Xennial complaint is that Klipy never has the gif I want, the search function is useless, and posting a link to Tenor or another gif site almost never works right on Bluesky. LET ME GIF!!!

Eeeeeeeeek! this is exactly how I pictured the murals on the ceiling in Morningstar Station from chapter 6!!! Kind of a cross between a demonic Sistine Chapel and Grand Central Station. It's so prettyyyyyyyy!!!

I love this take! Most #fanfic writers DO write for themselves, but they publish their work online because they want to share the fruit of their labor with the world, even if that world is a small corner of a niche fandom. TLDR: if you leave me a comment on AO3 I will cum youtu.be/f1Jc6pYg4JI?...

"Visual crossover" makes me think it will be background easter eggs, like an Angel Dust billboard or news about Vox's rally on the back of a newspaper. Probably nothing too earth shattering, but I'm still excited to see it. 😁

must one WRITE the story? is it not enough to lay in bed staring at the ceiling and vividly hallucinating the same scenes over and over again until the heat death of the universe? asking for a friend.

No matter the media, the most intriguing and well-written characters are the ones who are absolutely INFECTED with shades of gray. Despite a segment of the fandom trying to isolate these characters into black and white boxes, Vivienne has held her ground beautifully & allowed her creations to bleed.

The AO3 curse is real. I hope none of you ever suffer from pinched nerves from a slowly collapsing disk, because OUCH! And like a sick practical joke, lying down flat (which helps my back) triggers migraines so I'm in constant pain no matter what. Also, my spine doctor is a megadick jizzbiscuit. 😭
