Myth doesn't make a habit of lying and nor is he comfortable doing so - he's also not good at it at all. But he's generally trustworthy enough that he can get away with it on occassion. If he's caught in a situation where he can't tell the truth he's far more likely to say nothing at all.

for a non-ship answer it's thancred. they've got similar coping mechanisms, similar facades (😬) so they can see righttt through each other. but that leads to honesty, rather than conflict, so they're quite close. spending 2 years on the First together before everyone else showed up helped too
