I've reached a very early beginner level and might benefit if I went again, but I'm annoyed at them insisting someone with nearly debilitating social anxiety and zero experience write a set and perform on the spot without help. So, should try? Yeah. More likely to turn it into material? Also yes.

Event invitations should be a lot more specific. Sure, you've said cocktail attire, but I still don't know whether I should show up in jeans, velvet, or dressed like a martini. (Think I did OK in the end, but it definitely isn't the style anyone else chose. Own drum etc I guess 😂).

Had a very stressful day at work. Went for a run after. It worked. How dare something that requires multiple clothing changes, a shower, and being seen in public actually be better for my mental health than hiding under a pile of blankets with 25 brownies and Netflix? Highly unfair.

At the store despite sensory overwhelm and exhaustion so my students can have a cooking lesson; meanwhile my brain is yelling that I'm worthless and unwanted. That's what anxiety and depression are sometimes. Not seeing your own worth when it's clear to others. If you have a chance to be kind, do.

I'm trying to get used to the sound of my own voice and limit the internal editor. This has resulted in a lot of car ride voice memos that start "well, back to work.." and abruptly end with "no, that's shit." Unhelpful if accurate commentary on multiple aspects of the situation.

Alternately, the imposter syndrome gets so bad that you end up believing you're actually faking your own existence. Not in a 'I'm faking doing life right' way. In a 'I'm faking being alive, there actually is no me' way.

It's all about location. The people in the hospital likely have a healthy sense of their own mortality. Better to hit the coffee shops and stadiums where people are enjoying themselves and not appropriately considering the inevitability of their future demise.

Unconvered two stories I wrote for school aged 11-12. One is a retelling of Cinderella but the stepsisters get the happy ending. The other is basically Hardy Boys fanfic. I had a great teacher, but I think the 'you should get this published' note on the mystery was extremely generous.
