Just a quick sketch this evening. I kept thinking about the Toa Metru wearing more urban clothing, so I drew Vakama with a jacket and some cargo shorts/trousers.

For a very long time I thought Blokees was just some cute name people were giving Transformers figures. And I thought it was pronounced like "Blokes". But nope, it's an actual company and I am a fool 😂

As a British Citizen, the Campy Drawing of Queen Victoria is no laughing matter. One day it will just rise up from the ground and destroy everything you love...

It's going to be my turn to choose a film to show at film club soon and I'm finding it very difficult to choose. Because it's spooky month we're choosing spooky films. I can't decide between Pan's Labyrinth, The Lighthouse or Bram Stoker's Dracula

Cruella De Vil's Car (Classic style): A "What if?" Scenario where Lego acquired a license with Disney in the late 90s/Early 2000s (Technically they did). But in this instance they decided to make sets based on Classic Disney movies. And Cruella's car was one of the very first sets released.

Sadly nothing new for this year's #batmanday but it's still an opportunity to share some of my previous designs for my own take on the Bat-Man.

Went to Drawing Club for the first time in a couple of months this evening. The theme was birds so naturally I had to draw and paint a puffin 💕

"Without self-discovery, you will never find your destiny." - Turaga Lhikan energy_crystal_enjoyer made a really stellar design for some Turaga minifigures, and after discovering Mecabricks had the minifigure Hau piece, I knew I had to try and make a Turaga Lhikan figure.

7306: Golden Staff Guardians (Redux) I had some free time today, So I thought I'd tackle another one of the Smaller Pharaoh's Quest sets. Adding a bit more colour and detail. Sadly Mecabricks doesn't have the Golden Staff or Scarab Shield pieces, so I had to make my own.

7305: Scarab Attack (Redux) I've had the idea of revamping this Pharaoh's Quest set for a while now. Ever since I redesigned the Scarab Beetle years ago. So now felt like the right time, I added more of a campsite and made the Scarab a tiny bit more accurate too.

Peeper Bats: Thought it was time to return to PRETERNATURAL and build another spooky creature. These are based on a design I made years ago when I first used Mecabricks.

Bessie: I guess if there's one thing I know how to build, it's vintage cars. The design for my version of Bessie drew heavy inspiration from the Concept art for the Nelvana Animated Doctor Who series, and some inspiration from the original design of Bessie as well.

Dalek Hoverbout: Well, this was originally part of a larger action scene. But importing that from Mecabricks to Blender has been a nightmare and the add on needs a serious update.

The 456 Ambassador (Torchwood: Children of Earth) Probably one of the darkest concepts to come from the Doctor Who universe We never see the whole form of the 456, so a lot of this was guesswork. There's some behind the scenes pictures of the alien and it's got rather pale skin

The 2005 Bionicle sets always make me laugh because we have arachnophobia, newly awakened furries and the introduction of a dominatrix with rahkshi boobies.

Honestly, the comparisons are getting tiring now. In the past I've had to limit who can comment on my posts because of shit like this. If it wasn't funny the 1st time, it isn't funny the 100th time.

The very final Bohrok figure design. I ended up incorporating some of Energy-crystal-enjoyer's Bohrok design into my version. I added some tiles and a cheese slope piece to give more accurate shaping to the body.
