I dunno, looks like an actual real injury to me. And an actual person was killed by one of the real bullets that grazed his ear. Comparing his injury via projectile against an injury via Mike Tyson's teeth is like comparing iceberg damage to the Titanic against torpedo damage to the Lusitania.

Just finished this very informative and inspiring book by @kcarterjackson.bsky.social "Force and Freedom". I don't think I've read a book about abolition and the antislavery movement that so centered Black voices and political actors, while validating the use of defensive violence.
