I know this is, like, 910% the nichest thing to go feral over, but a BIG thing about this is Zun REALLY doesn't operate like most devs, and for the longest time. He had 0 plans for remaking games (doesn't have touhou 6's source code anymore), and fan remakes were a big nono. This is MASSIVE to me.

God-tier TF2 deathcams from my recent games since I can't stop running into stuff like this on the regular for some reason. \\ (Labeled for potential TW for videogame gore.)

Team Fortress 2 screenshot of a Red medic absolutely shook at the prospect of their pocked turning to ice and thrown at their feet in an instant.

Team Fortress 2 screenshot of A mid-air Red Spy head gib that probably qualifies as a think piece in some art exhibits.

Team Fortress 2 screenshot of a Blu Scout on fire holding a med-kit displaying an act of pure Scout tf2 behavior (bro was probably on 121 hp)

PEAK going from 'game I keep getting left behind in because friends are too fast' to 'I just beat Ascent 7 in under 1 hour (+ No fall damage + No placing anything on the mountain) for FUN' is a wild character arc I just completed but I'm here for it.

Screen showing game completion stats of PEAK on an Ascent 7 (hardest difficulty) run, with the completion time of under 1 hour.

Can't sleep, so did some midnight editing. Digging around my video files led me to what I still think is one of my funniest ""low effort"" thumbnails I've made for something

Video thumbnail for a gameplay video of Arcaea, featuring Saya as shown on the album art of the song ALTER EGO with a person holding a gun towards the character signifying a great distaste toward the song, specifically the Eternal chart's, featuring in the video

I think if there's 2 rhythm game histories I'd love to look into at some point, despite not having much motivation to get into the games themselves for me, it'd be GITADORA (and GF/DM era) and EZ2ON. (as well as the high amount of vsrg history from pre-2010)

One of the most underrated small details in Minecraft imo is 'Villager tag'. If there's enough baby villagers (2 is enough, but less common), they can 'play tag' with eachother by running around like little maniacs and it's really adorable seeing it in-game randomly.

Minecraft. Want fully enchanted Turtle Helmet. OK! Have all done but Respiration. Uh oh! Respiration is hard to roll on enchant table. No more Villagers for Librarians + feels like a waste. Keep rolling. Goes on for 10 IRL days. Get fed up. Learn natural Villager breeding conditions. Doesn't work...

I finally ran into my first natural 'Spear Zombie' (Zombie w/ spear riding a Zombie horse) in Minecraft, and holy crap, I don't think I've been taken aback by something like that in this since Skeleton Horse spawns lol. If the Horse spawns with good speed, it can be a legit killer in early game.

Had a dream that there was global panic about the world running out of oxygen, Nintendo was the only video game company to make a statement about it, and the internet collectively spent its final hours on Earth debating whether Nintendo was being genuine or not

A fabricated statement from Nintendo of America's Twitter account addressing a fictitious scenario in which the Earth's oxygen supply is presumed to be depleting at a rapid pace, leaving humanity with mere days to live.

"This is Miyamoto. On behalf of everyone who is employed at Nintendo Co. LTD and its subsidiaries, we deeply mourn the countless human lives which will be lost due to the depletion of the global oxygen supply. To anyone who has ever played one of our games, we are eternally grateful to have created long-lasting fun and memories for you. To ease the suffering of families and children across the world, the Mario Kart World game for the Nintendo Switch 2 system will be available as a free download on Nintendo eShop for the foreseeable future. We hope this small gesture of kindness will ease the pain as humanity prepares for a worst-case scenario."

The statement is distastefully plastered with logos for Nintendo and Nintendo Switch 2, as well as with a render of Mario from Mario Kart World.

A fabricated Twitter thread responding to the fabricated Nintendo statement.

PlayStation Nation: "What the fuck are you doing falsely advertising sales during these trying times? I went to the website and Mario Kart World is still selling for $80 USD."

Kremling Kevin: "If you actually read the statement, it clearly says the discount is available on Nintendo eShop. Meaning the application on the Switch 2 itself, not the web browser version."

PlayStation Nation: "Point still stands."

A fabricated Tweet responding to the fabricated Nintendo statement.

Isaboner: "Nothing for Switch 1 owners?"
