Wee hung out with our 80ish neighbor up the hill. We were casual friends with the whole family. She moved into assisted living and we visited her there too. Now her grandkid lives in the house and she helps me now and again. Our dear friend passed almost 3 decades ago. My partner just passed.

Bittersweet came up this morning thinking about my partner who passed. He loved to watch an observational train station in Taiwan. It looked out over an ocean straight at an island. People would come and watch the trains pass and he'd describe the unique ones to me. I miss learning about those guys.

Tho I have more issues with my cat Bazinga going out. He is reluctant to go until he gets wet food. He was STANDING at the door and I was gonna open it, BUT I made a noise reaching for the knob and he got startled and ran away. Very frustrating when moving around is hard due to back pain!
