MYBirding @mybirding.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Very true, site tick of course. Can in from the E and sort of changed course to NE. I was on direct course to go over our heads at one point! 120
MYBirding @mybirding.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Do you want to see a very cropped image of a Marsh Harrier that flew NW from bet Barr Beacon at 0800 today! Go on then and no comments about my old Blurred Birding antics! With @ochrurosbirder.bsky.social 3211
MYBirding @mybirding.bsky.social · 21/09/2026Bit weird not to see other Midlands birders there yesterday. Perfect conditions for Leach’s, not deep enough for Sabines I expect! Still trying to extract sand from every nook and cranny! 130
MYBirding @mybirding.bsky.social · 21/09/2026It’s being replaced! Probably sold to another country I expect rather than scrapped 011
MYBirding @mybirding.bsky.social · 12/09/2026The Whinchat this morning on Barr Beacon in the West Midlands l. 1220
MYBirding @mybirding.bsky.social · 12/09/2026Had around 25 Swallow and a Sand Martin push through Barr Beacon first thing this morning and a Whinchat. Swallows cut a path lower down the hill because of the strong wind and turned SW and flew below the edge onwards. 080
MYBirding @mybirding.bsky.social · 12/09/2026I did the very first one in a winter there with Roger, I asked if I could count American duck! He said no and gave me Teal!! 000
MYBirding @mybirding.bsky.social · 06/09/2026Popped over this pm, walked to Riversmeet/Jubilee Bridge and also the the east pool. Nothing! 010
MYBirding @mybirding.bsky.social · 30/08/2026Yeh, not some much the wet, it’s keeping the optics dry. 000
MYBirding @mybirding.bsky.social · 11/08/2026No excuses from now on, second cataract sorted. The world appears to be bright again. 1180
MYBirding @mybirding.bsky.social · 09/08/2026Keep believing! Think I would go further south than that, like Spain. 120
MYBirding @mybirding.bsky.social · 19/07/2026Happy to grab back a Long-tailed Shrike in Gloucestershire this afternoon! @ochrurosbirder.bsky.social 1494
MYBirding @mybirding.bsky.social · 14/06/2026Sadly when reports come in and that it’s still there and you are in the right places in intercept it! Total confusion, birders appeared from nowhere too, sat in cars or looking elsewhere I’m not sure. 110
MYBirding @mybirding.bsky.social · 13/06/2026Well that’s another nail in my UK twitching today. A couple of sightings of the Heron which was sketchy at the best and being in the right positions to intercept it both times left everybody 🤔 170
MYBirding @mybirding.bsky.social · 07/06/2026I’ve got to wait a week sadly. Had to be around for some stuff I’ve had to do at mom’s house. 010
MYBirding @mybirding.bsky.social · 04/06/2026Sadly looking straight into the storm will never help. Come down a few times but never really timed it due to work. Nearest seawatch to me in the West Mids. 010
MYBirding @mybirding.bsky.social · 04/06/2026Does everyone still watch from just before the bridge. 100
MYBirding @mybirding.bsky.social · 27/05/2026Best not show Bev these, she fell down the slope at the back while I was searching for the chat. Still got the scar! 000
MYBirding @mybirding.bsky.social · 04/05/2026Nice to reacquaint myself with Bonaparte’s Gull that is moving between Hayle Estuary and Ryan’s Field. Super views late afternoon from the hide. 0270

MYBirding @mybirding.bsky.social · 06/04/2026I don’t normally get too excited about Hooded Merganser, but what with all the Yanks around the country at the minute, you can’t just help thinking that this is a good one. Happy to spent a little time with it this morning. Staffs! 1100
MYBirding @mybirding.bsky.social · 15/03/2026No birding for me this weekend due to having mom in hospital for the last two weeks. She is at home now making good progress on recovery! 91 not out and counting. 1140
MYBirding @mybirding.bsky.social · 28/02/2026A regional day in Worcestershire, started with a a possible 5 target species. Only one seen which is probably the trickiest bird of the lot with a pair of Lesser Spotted Woodpecker. @ochrurosbirder.bsky.social 0110
