This is what I got when I visited the profile page of someone hit with the label that I saw someone else post about. I'm in the UK and likewise refuse to verify. (In this case at least it's time-limited and expires in 20ish days, though that's hardly the point.)

A message from BlueSky saying "Content Warning. This user has been flagged: Adult Content." There is a link to learn more, and a button saying "Go back".

I find a note - "...without so much as a customary glance..." oof. Still, better than this from The Long Dark Episode 5

A screenshot from the recently-released final episode of the story mode of The Long Dark; a painterly-style image as I crawl through a ventilation duct shows text describing my current mission objective. The text is literally just the first paragraph of lorem ipsum.

Beautiful and I’m glad I watched it, but once was enough thanks.

Me waiting for my GPU to arrive today. Excited to see what it does for my Stardew Valley frame rates!

On the plus side so far this is remarkable nostalgia for a somewhat ageing Englishperson who grew up in two villages; they even have a "for copyright purposes *not* Simon" Simon toy.

A screenshot from Everybody's Gone to the Rapture, showing an electronic circular child's toy similar to - but distinct from - Simon; where Simon has 4 coloured buttons, this has 6.

Playing Everybody's Gone to the Rapture and I have to say, I'm feeling a little attacked.

A screenshot from the aforementioned game - close up of the interior of a typical English bus shelter, showing graffiti reading "Tim is a massive knobhead".

Oh absolutely (my search literally just now was for "chemical formula of alcohol -ai", to test a suggestion I'd seen to add -ai to your search terms)

Google search's "AI Overview" for a search for "chemical formula of alcohol -ai". It reads as follows:

The general chemical formula for alcohols is CnH2n+1OH, where 'n' represents the number of carbon atoms. The "-ai" ending in a name like "methanol" or "ethanol" indicates the presence of the hydroxyl (-OH) group, which is the defining characteristic of an alcohol.
For example:

Methanol: CH3OH (n=1)
Ethanol: C2H5OH (n=2)
Propanol: C3H7OH (n=3)

So, while "-ai" is not a formal chemical notation, it signifies the presence of the alcohol functional group, which is attached to a carbon-containing structure.

Also, the view on the way in elicited an involuntary "oh hell no"

A screenshot of the Silent Hill 2 remake; James is looking through a doorway into a room. The scene is sepia-toned, dark in the foreground and better lit in the background. Two mannequins are visible standing in the background. As this is a survival horror game you'd be forgiven for expecting shenanigans from them.

Heh, we were clearing out our hedge at the weekend and I found this buried in the debris

A portion of the wrapper from a Twix chocolate bar, showing a price of 17p (recommended retail price 18p). For reference this would cost more like a pound today, depending on where you go.

Live footage of me now that I've received a "your order is out for delivery" notification

Snow White from the Disney film, her face pressed up against the glass of a window, eyes wide as she looks through it. The word "Pakidge" (i.e. package, deliberately misspelled) has been added.

Here you go, hope this helps - from dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/e...

Screenshot of part of the Cambridge Dictionary definition for the word "they", centred on definition B1. Two definitions are given:
1. "used to refer to a person whose gender is not known or does not need to be mentioned"
2. "used to refer to a single person whose gender is not simply male or female"

There's a non-derogatory meaning to it? Also, colour me shocked

I love the juxtaposition of your post with @garethlpowell.bsky.social 's directly above it on my timeline

A post by Gareth L. Powell that says "Sunday morning is my reset morning. Sleep late, long hot bath, leisurely cup of tea. Read a book while listening to the bells from the church down the street. Rest, regroup, reset."

It's immediately followed the post that I'm replying to by Tade.

Went into the Windows 11 Settings app to check something and noticed this localisation failure, presumably due to a blanket check -> tick substitution.
