A dear friend of mine from Chicago released his debut album last week and my order came today. If you’re into Americana/country/crooners give it a listen. #americanrough #andrewsa #vinyl

An amber colored vinyl record is held up in front of an American flag, coloring the flag in its orange hue. The label reads Andrew Sa, American Rough.

The album being held under a fuchsia plant. The cover of the album is a photo of a smiling mustachioed man in a cowboy hat. His chin is being held in the hand of another man.

Photo of me holding up the record. The amber vinyl matches the orange design on my shirt.

Finally got a purple windflower in Animal Crossing. I’ve been time traveling and watering like crazy for the last week and it finally happened. 😭😭 Now if only I could get a purple pansy… #acnh #animalcrossing

Picture of my character in Animal Crossing throwing confetti among a field of red flowers in a checkerboard pattern. There are purple buds between a couple of the red flowers.

I’m never good about keeping up with planners, but at least I have fun decorating mine.

Photo of a yellow yearly planner covered in stickers. Background is a light green floral blanket.

Saw Tron:Ares tonight. I’m a diehard NIN/Reznor fan so I really wanted to hear the soundtrack in the context of the film. I also love a novelty so I got this light up cup.

Pic of me sitting in the movie theater holding up a novelty cup. There is a red light emanating from the bottom of the cup lighting up the side of my face.

Love how I never finished my faves so it’s just Mulholland Drive and Fantasia. And that feels correct.

173/365 Took a trip to California Adventure on Tuesday and didn’t post anything about it on here, so here’s a pic with Wes on the Golden Zephyr.

Photo taken at Disney’s California Adventure. I am in the foreground on the right of the screen. My boyfriend is behind me and to the left behind him is a large Ferris wheel with Mickey Mouse’s face on it.

Next up is Khruangbin’s fantastic 2024 album A La Sala. I bought this last year from a shop in LA and never actually opened it though I’ve listened many times on streaming.

Image of Khruangbin’s album A La Sala leaning against the screen of my laptop. The record is still wrapped in its cellophane and a sticker on the upper left has the track listing of the album.

The image on the cover is meant to look like a photo that has been matted in a frame. The image in the frame is a red wall with a window looking out to clouds.

Spending a lil time this afternoon listening to some vinyl. Just listened to a 2007 reissue of Joy Division’s Unknown Pleasures and now I’ve moved on to David Bowie’s Diamond Dogs..

Text from the inside of David Bowie’s 1974 album Diamond Dogs. The text is black on a blue watercolor background that is a yellowing. There are the tops of a few buildings at the bottom of the frame.

It reads: FUTURE LEGEND

And… in the death, as the last few corpses lay rotting on the slimy thoroughfare, the shutters lifted an inch in temperance building, high on Poachers Hill and red mutant eyes gazed down on Hunger City. No more big wheels. Fleas the size of rats sucked on rats the size of cats and ten thousand peoploids split into small tribes, coveting the highest of the sterile skyscrapers like packs of dogs assaulting the glass fronts of Love-Me Avenue. Ripping and rewrapping mink and shiny silver fox, now legwarmers. Family badge of sapphire and cracked emerald. Any day now, the year of the Diamond Dogs.
"This ain't rock and roll! This is genocide!"

I can be kinda oblivious. 😅

Close up of my hand holding a pin that reads “if you have a crush on me… you have to tell me”.

The text is in navy blue except for the word CRUSH. It is written on in white with a navy outline. Behind all the text is a large pink heart.

98/365 🌈✨🍋Finally had a chance to wear my @dannybrito.bsky.social x Maren Morris collab shirt. Danny’s work always brings a smile to my face and I love being able to wear a piece of his work out into public and share it with others. 🍋✨🌈

Picture of me wearing a blue over shirt and a graphic tee. My head is cocked to the right and I’m giving a peace sign. The graphic tee depicts a lemon wearing pink boots looking into a mirror. The mirror has an orange and yellow checkerboard border. In the mirror behind the lemon there is a sunshine with a smile on its face peeking out from behind a rainbow and below is a field of flowers. Text below the image reads “little change of weather, it’ll make it better”.

44/365 Rainy days off still call for getting outside the house. We went to visit the Self-Realization Fellowship gift shop.

Picture of me looking in a mirror seen from the knees up. The wide mirror border is an ornate blue mosaic background with golden/bronze inlays and multi-colored stones. The bottom of the mirror is the usual rectangular shape and the top is a clam shell/mandala shape.

Got these scratch off fortune teller cards a while ago and decided it was time to scratch another one. This time I got the handcuffs.

Image of a fortune teller scratch off sitting on a wooden surface. There is a drawing of handcuffs in the middle of the card.

Backside of the scratch card with a guide to what each icon means. The handcuffs icon is halfway down the list and its description reads: “Independence and freedom. Breaking loose from situations that no longer serve you.”

I love when garden centers get new pallets of plants and they’re completely full. I love seeing all the variety in each row of the same plant.

Up close picture of a pallet of succulents. Each of the eight horizontal rows is a different variety. Some have acidic green coloring while others are almost teal. A row of aeoniums in the center is a burgundy hue with green towards the center of each plant.

Went to the local record shop today and snagged a vinyl grab bag. 5 records for $15. I’ve only ever heard of Sparks, but I’ve never listened to any of these until today.
