I’ve been liking the same post on here and X. I probably should change that. But man that requires too much brain power.

Kamen Rider My-Th Episode 1 Is Weird... And I Love It

I think about this cereal often…

000

Steven Oz @mxaghost.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

14/ So, as of right now, I loved the finale. And I loved Kamen Rider ZEZTZ. It was strange. It was ambitious. It was emotional. It was a journey. Most importantly, it made me feel wonder. And honestly? That's exactly what I want from Kamen Rider. #KamenRiderZEZTZ

13/ The dreams that make us wake up from the routine and boredom of everyday life. The dreams that push us toward a future we actually want to live in. Maybe we can't all become Kamen Riders. But we can still chase something. We can still believe.

100

Steven Oz @mxaghost.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

12/ And maybe that's what ZEZTZ ultimately gave me. It made me believe in dreams. Not just the dreams we have when we're asleep. The dreams we have for ourselves. The dreams we want to believe are possible.

100

Steven Oz @mxaghost.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

11/ To bond with other people over a strange, colorful superhero show is something special. Even if we're thousands of miles apart. Even if all we're doing is typing in chat. For that moment, we're experiencing something together.

100

Steven Oz @mxaghost.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

10/ I now think Kamen Rider is often best when it's shared. Not just because you might introduce someone new to the fandom. But because sharing something you love with other people can give you a richer experience—and maybe even a richer life.

100

Steven Oz @mxaghost.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

9/ Seeing everyone react to a twist made me react even harder. Watching the chat get hyped made me hyped. And sometimes, we'd all collectively scream "NO!" at the screen at the exact same time. Honestly? That's beautiful.

100

Steven Oz @mxaghost.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

8/ And watching ZEZTZ changed how I think about watching Kamen Rider. I used to believe watching a movie or show alone was the best way to experience it. But watching ZEZTZ with people on YouTube or Twitch became its own special experience.

100

Steven Oz @mxaghost.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

7/ ZEZTZ was about the feeling of being wrapped up in Baku's journey. The wonder. The impossible story told through dreams. The Nightmares gaining power and slowly invading reality. The agents of CODE entering lucid dreams to fight back. It wanted you to feel like anything was possible.

100

Steven Oz @mxaghost.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

6/ But when I think about ZEZTZ, I don't think I'll remember every plot point or every detail. Nobody walks out of a concert talking about how many chords the guitarist used. They remember how it felt to be there. I think that's true of Kamen Rider too.

100

Steven Oz @mxaghost.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

5/ Also, as always with Kamen Rider: the music delivered. Both opening themes were absolute bops. And the visuals in those openings were more than just cool imagery. They were packed with teases and hints about what was still to come.

100

Steven Oz @mxaghost.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

4/ And the characters were outstanding. The Paranormal cops brought so much fun as a duo. Sieg was wonderfully unhinged. And the mystery surrounding Nem kept me trying to figure out exactly what was going on. Everyone helped make this strange dream feel alive.

100

Steven Oz @mxaghost.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

3/ The story worked for me too. A spy story mixed with dreams is practically an invitation for twists and turns—and ZEZTZ had plenty of them. Between the mysteries, the Nightmares, CODE, and everything surrounding Baku and Nem, the show constantly kept me wondering where things were going.

100

Steven Oz @mxaghost.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

2/ The dream concept gave ZEZTZ the freedom to do almost anything. That freedom could have put enormous pressure on the visuals, but the series embraced it. The weird camera angles and dreamlike imagery constantly made me think about the different ways visuals can tell a story.

100

Steven Oz @mxaghost.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

1/ My thoughts on the Kamen Rider ZEZTZ finale and the series as a whole. As of right now? I loved it. I haven't had much time to sit with the ending yet, so these are my immediate thoughts. I may even make a video dissecting it later. But ZEZTZ was outstanding. 🧵

Modern Toku fans are so spoiled. Older fans survived IRC channels, torrents, and sketchy downloads just to watch Kamen Rider. Now we get a free, official global YouTube stream and people are complaining about a 4-week window? Turn off the devices and just enjoy the win. #KamenRiderMYTH

The "Neighborhood Hub" Angle These ads looked like mini-sitcoms, focusing on family bonding, first dates, and grandfather-grandson moments. It told a story, not so much of selling you something.
