I saw the #Canadian #alt-rock band USS (Ubiquitous Synergy Seeker) open for someone (i forget who!) in Victoria, BC years ago. They weren't huge but feature prominently in my favourite playlists and always move me when they come on.

The app I'm working on will compile in under 6 seconds on my new M5 macbook air. The same app takes 39 seconds on a 10th gen i7 windows laptop. What a massive difference!

Just ran into an insidious bug in a large #Angular app where records from an API are applied to forms using patchValue() instead of reset(). When the #restAPI sends a partial object, we'd end up carrying forward remnants of the last record a user looked at into the form submit!

I told Claude Code to replicate complex functionality from one app in another. The task included several menu items and multiple screens, and the backend to support the data and business rules. It took me longer to sort out what was created than if I would have used Claude to build one at a time.
