So when he is going to: - Compensate the country for the financial loss - Restore membership for Scotland and the North of Ireland - Reinstate EU citizenship so we can travel freely - Open the borders to our neighbours? Or will he just keep playing Dress-up as a blackshirt so the Tommos like him?

This isn't the last straw. The last straw was 23 months ago. But the camel's back is not only still intact, it's petted and feted daily by the supine formerUK government and the so-calledBBC. Abetting the annexation of UA, on top of the other slaughter it perpetuates, means cut all ties now! ALL!

The confected MSM storm about Greens in crisis shows how entrenched they are in the bigger parties. Greens are democratic. We have differences. We talk about them. We vote. We elect a leader for 2 years. We respect their position. Zack has done us proud so far and has another ten months to do more.

The Green Party is a proudly democratic party, but our exponential growth means that our processes need updating. Then we can realise all our potential and model the participatory democracy we want to see across the nation.

On 7 October, a video shared by Stand Up to Racism Scotland, with the caption This is what happens when you keep telling racists that they have "legitimate concerns"... appeared to show a group of black-clad men ‘patrolling’ the streets of Glasgow while making racist threats.

Two short and powerful videos showing how the decisions councils (and governments) make are often contributing to people's mental health problems - and suggesting how councils can start reversing this. Just one of many #GreenParty councillors making a real difference, that the media fail to report.

I think there are a few strategies we need to work on, but will try to feed these through to people when I can. Not sure if SG also use the Target to Win approach, but I think it needs an update. It was a great atmosphere though and just the buzz I needed meeting lots of lovely Greens young & older

Yes I was really sad when I saw the result. Especially as we met lots of motivated cool Green voters. But LAB were out in major force too and had all of Keir's legacy voters to call on, so probably it was always a long shot. Coming round to see the plus sides gradually.

LGBTIQA+ Greens: Statement on the Holborn and St Pancras by-election
LGBTIQA+ Greens: Statement on the Holborn and St Pancras by-election
We would like to thank Zack Polanski and all the Green Party members who campaigned hard in the Holborn and St Pancras by-election, including our own members campaigning to elect our first gay MP and and our second LGBTIQA+ MP after Carla Denyer.
Zack held the Labour government to account over many issues including their complicity in the genocide in Gaza and failure to address cost of living in this country, while also standing firm against racist attacks from Reform against the now Labour MP Sagal Abdi-Wali. We are proud that we are a party that stands for everyone being able to engage in the democratic process regardless of their race, gender, or any other form of marginalisation.
We want to congratulate Zack on more than tripling our vote share in Holborn and St Pancras, as well as increasing the Green Party membership from 50,000 to 200,000+ in the first year of his leadership. Additionally helping to get the Wales Green Party get their first two members of the Senedd, and our own membership of LGBTIQA+ Greens now being over 5,500. These increases show that the Green Party is a growing political force across England and Wales and we can build on this to win in future elections up and down the two countries.
We trust that Zack can deliver real hope and real change to people’s lives, including for those of us who are trans and queer as we desperately need a different direction right now for the country. So we hope the party will join us in coming together under his leadership and take the fight to Labour and Reform.

And then one fine day, a Friday if I rightly recall, they decided enough was enough, and stopped following him, stopped reading him (a shame, given he used to be a good investigative journalist). But constantly undermining Zack and GPEW really is #partoftheproblem.

CL herself makes it clear she is not calling for ZP, by using the admittedly highly ambiguous (for status quo journalists) formulation, "I'm not calling on ZP to step down". bsky.app/profile/caro...

Moireibh na Chreig @muuuz.bsky.social · 09/10/2026
They outline CL's position, showing she opposed ZiR but then providing a) a neutral reply and b) a pro-ZP staying line. They add anon sources, LAB MPs, and JB, who "did not demand he quit". Their claim ZP "faced pressure from within his own party to resign" is a self-concocted anti-GPEW smear. 4/4

Moireibh na Chreig @muuuz.bsky.social · 09/10/2026
First they quote VL saying it was a mistake for ZP not to have voted on the motion. They describe her comments as "calling him on ZP to resign", but the quote they give doesn't mention that. 3/4

Moireibh na Chreig @muuuz.bsky.social · 09/10/2026
Just by analysing the article itself - and not even going on to the fact that they only quote people who have been or are likely to be critical of ZP and/or the ZiR policy - the journalists are clearly skewing the findings. 2/4

If any of the many menaces are feeling down this morning, understandable ... But take a look at what amazing gnashing of the vote you've achieved. Proud of Zack, those who voted for him, and the 1,000's of committed activists who took the time, or dug deep, or spread the word. Green is now!

Clearly whoever is responsible for the green line is a liability and it is behoven unto all media to question their leadership and randomly get stuck in and undermine by any means fair or foul lest the performance improves further. High lines can be red or blue or even fashquoise, but never green.

Every so-called-BBC reporter, presenter and analyst: Why does the Green Party never talk about 'the environment'? Why don't they mention cost of living when it's voters' main concern? Because they do, but you only listen to and read each others' status quo echo chamber of smears and lies.

Clive is right to challenge the crony takeover of the public realm by predatory capital. However, instead of doing so from the margins of the party that enables and champions the sell-outs and rip-offs, I would invite him to step up to the Green Party ranks and help replace it.
